Today we will be on a 10am flight from Amsterdam to Minneapolis. Then we will catch a 3pm flight from Minneapolis back to Des Moines! We are scheduled to arrive in Des Moines at 4:25pm.

Day 7 of Trip
We will spend this day with NanaYaw’s, mom, Esi.
Our travel back home starts this evening. Our flight leaves Accra, Ghana at 10pm and arrives in Amsterdam at 5:45am on Wednesday January 6th.
Please pray again for safe travel, that we are able to catch our connecting flights, and that our luggage sticks with us.

Day 6: TODAY WE MEET SAMUEL!
It's the big day!!!!!!! We finally get to meet Samuel today.
We will spend all day with Samuel in his village. We will have the village party and hand out the goody bags to the children in the village.
Please pray that our first meeting goes well. Pray that Samuel would feel comfortable with us and want to interact with us. Pray that if we get to meet Samuel’s mother, Jennifer, that she would feel at ease with us. Pray that we would be able to communicate with them, aside from possible language barriers. Please pray that it all goes wonderfully! Also, that the village children would enjoy their gifts.

Day 5: Travel to Eastern Region
Today we will travel to the eastern region to meet Kofi! Tonight we will be staying in housing arrangements made by Kofi. He has things planned for us to do today.Please pray for our big day tomorrow when we get to meet Samuel. Please pray that God would prepare us and him for our meeting. Pray that we would have calm, peaceful hearts, and that we would all be prepared to meet each other.

Days 3 & 4 of Trip: Travel to the Western Region
Happy New Year everyone!!!!!!!
Today we will travel to Cape Coast to tour Hoops Care International (http://www.hoopscare.org/)
From Cape Coast we will travel to Takoradi in the western region to look at land for the facility and meet with the chiefs that own the land. Over these two days we will be meeting all the people that Mark wants us to meet to discuss the land purchase with.
Please pray for prevention from car sicknesses and also prevention of disease especially malaria. Pray that we would be able to discern what food items are okay for us to eat.
