“Ahhhhh, home”, JJ sighed as we turned onto our street tonight. We had just been out running errands and visiting Jake at the gym.
It does feel good to be home, I thought. You know the feeling right? Before you even walk in the door you can smell the pot of chili simmering on the stove, you can feel the warm fireplace waiting to relax your frigid muscles, you melt in the thought of the sheer bliss you will feel once the kids are tucked away all snug in their bed, and you look forward to the peaceful feeling of laying your head down on your own pillow to shut your eyes for rest. “Ahhhhh, home”. I couldn’t have said it better myself.
